Come to my kitchen.

I love baking. I love sharing!

My roots of baking classic Italian treats can be attributed to my little grandmother, Rosa Sclafani. I have the fondest memories of my grandmother's kitchen. She would bake her own bread and everything on the table came from the garden. Grandma Sclafani really knew how to make all of the Italian specialties, especially the sweets! I hope that I can make her proud by sharing some of our favorite family desserts with you.

On my first trip to Italy, I discovered a small bakery in the quaint town of Frascati, where Grandma Rosanna was sitting right outside in the sunshine. Watching the "S" cookies being rolled & formed, just the way I do it at home and seeing all of the beautiful biscotti coming right out of the wood fired oven gave me the most delicious inspiration! I was overcome with emotion at the simplicity of making the treasured cookies.

I would love to share the aroma and flavors of this wonderful memory with you.
